Young Scientists

Young Scientists is the perfect way to help your little ones discover a passion for science and ignite a desire to explore the world around them. Each four-week session provides developmentally appropriate, informal learning experiences that support and enhance exploration, create excitement and facilitate scientific discoveries. We understand that learning is best achieved through exploration and discovery, which is why our sessions encourage hands-on learning and active participation. 

Our program is intended for children between the ages of 3 and 5, who must be accompanied by an adult. We offer Young Scientist sessions on Saturdays at either 9–10 a.m. or 11 a.m.–noon. Additionally, after each program, participants can access the exhibit galleries. 

We also offer sessions in Spanish on Thursdays at 9–10 a.m. or 11 a.m.–noon.
